Who Should Attend?

Supervisory staff and lone workers who hold a valid CCNSG National Safety Passport and are responsible for teams.

Joining Instructions

Candidates must bring one of the following forms of ID: * A current original signed passport * A current original signed UK photo driving licence * An ECITB/ACE Card Candidates must hold an in date CCSNG National card. This card must be brought with them to the training course to be presented to the trainer before the course commences. Candidates must have conversational use and understanding of the English language. If candidates do not meet this requirement, they will not be allowed to attend unless prior approval has been given by ECITB to run the course in another language or a translator is present. Candidates will be required to give us their personal details which will be entered onto the ECITB Web Portal. This information will be used to generate certification for the candidate. At the start of the course, candidates will have a digital photograph taken of them which will be provided to ECITB for the course records database. Candidates are eligible to combine their CCNSG and ACE cards which will subsequently synchronise the expiry date for the future. Any candidate who are unable to comply with these requirements will be unable to commence training.

Training Venue

Welcome to The Training Centre in Jarrow! Located conveniently with easy access, this venue is perfect for your training needs. Throughout the day, you can enjoy complimentary refreshments, including tea, coffee, juice, and water. If you prefer to bring your own lunch, theres a canteen equipped with a fridge and microwave. Alternatively, a sandwich van visits around 10 am, offering a delightful selection of hot and cold food, drinks, and cakes. To reach The Training Centre, take the A194M from South Shields, exit towards Washington/Birtley/Newcastle, and follow the signs to Jarrow. After merging onto the A19, take the A185 exit, and at Jarrow Interchange, take the second exit onto Priory Rd/B1297. The Training Centre will be on your right. We look forward to welcoming you!. Tea, Coffee, Juice and water are available through out day. There is a canteen with fridge and microwave if candidates wish to bring their own lunch. We also have a sandwich was calls around 10Ish which has hot and cold food, drinks, cakes etc. There is a shopping centre within walking distance with cafes and shops serving hot and cold food.
