Industrial Safety Legislation, Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice, Health and Safety Audits, Safety Representatives and Committees, Machinery Guarding, Accident Prevention and Risk Management, Techniques of Safety Management, Mechanical Handling & Company Safety Policies, Incident Recording, Investigating and Reporting, Construction Hazards and Management & Process Hazards.

The NEBOSH General Certificate training course covers a wide range of topics related to health and safety in the workplace. This includes understanding industrial safety legislation, regulations and approved codes of practice, conducting health and safety audits, and the roles of safety representatives and committees.

Participants will also learn about machinery guarding and accident prevention techniques, as well as risk management strategies. The course will cover the basics of safety management, including company safety policies and procedures. In addition, participants will learn about incident recording, investigating and reporting, and how to manage construction and process hazards.

8:30am - 4:00pm (approx.) - times can vary depending on the class. 30 minutes for lunch and 2 x 10 minutes breaks.Revision day is optional - you can attend all day, a part of the day or you can study from home.Exam day - start times and finishing times depend on exam times.

We have ample parking space for up to 80 people, making it easy for you to attend our training sessions.For those using public transportation, we are just a short 15-minute drive from Dyce Train Station and only 10 minutes away from the nearest bus stop. So, getting to the Training Centre is a breeze!During your training, we want to make sure you stay refreshed and energized. Thats why we offer complimentary tea and coffee, as well as drinking water. If you need a little pick-me-up, we also have options to purchase soft drinks and breakfast rolls during break time.Finding us is easy! If youre coming from A96, simply head west on Auchmill Road and continue straight onto A96. Keep right to stay on A96 and then turn right onto Dyce Drive. From there, turn right onto Wellheads Drive and finally, turn right onto Wellheads Crescent. The NEBOSH General Certificate is accredited by the UKs leading health and safety professional body, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health IOSH. Upon completion of the NEBOSH General Certificate training course, candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of key health and safety principles and practices. They will also gain practical skills that can be applied in a variety of workplace settings, making them valuable assets to any organization.

There are 2 written exams on the final day of the course (day 13) and a work based risk assessment to be completed outwith Evolve. Delegates have 2 weeks from the date of the exam to have this completed and submitted back to Evolve, please note this does not have to be completed at your workplace.. Achieving the qualification - Candidates will need to pass all three units within a five year period to achieve the qualification. The five year period commences from the result declaration date of the first successful unit. Units which have a Pass mark but are older than 5-years, will not be counted towards the overall qualification. Any such units will need to be retaken and a Pass achieved in the unit/s before the qualification can be awarded. The pass standard for each unit may vary according to pre-determined criteria but isnormalised to 45% for the written papers (NGC1 and GC2) and 60% for the practical application unit (GC3). When candidates have been awarded a unit certificate for all three units (i.e., have achieved a Pass in units NGC1, GC2 and GC3), the marks are added together and a final grade is awarded as follows: Pass 150 - 179 marks, Credit 180 - 209 marks, Distinction 210 marks or more.
