Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended) 2002. Manual Handling is the lifting, lowering, carrying, the pulling or pushing of a load by hand or by bodily force. The course is practical, visual and inter-active, with ample opportunity to practice the movements under the supervision of the trainer and to discuss their application to participant's own work....

The manual handling course is aimed at all levels of employees who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof by hand or by bodily force.
Joining Instructions
Specific Manual Lifting and Handling (AM) joining instructions will be supplied to you (if appropriate) once your booking is confirmed. If, once confirmation has been received, you are in anyway unsure of what prerequisites or items you need to bring or provide, then your dedicated training manager or the trainer conducting your course will be able to confirm this with you. Welcome to the Tonbridge Training Centre! Our venue is conveniently located in the town of Tonbridge, with a postcode of TN91SS. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your course start time for registration and induction. Limited parking is available on a first come first served basis, so we suggest arriving early to secure a spot. If the carpark is full, there is a nearby Pay and Display option. Unfortunately, large vans may not be able to park on site. Dont worry, weve got you covered with complimentary tea and coffee to keep you energized throughout the day. For directions, we suggest taking the A228 from the M20 or A21 from the M25. If youre coming by rail, the Tonbridge mainline station is just a short walk away.
