The CITB Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course (TWSTC) course aims to provide relevant and substantive training to anyone working in or coming in contact with during the normal course of their occupation

Who Should Attend?

CITB Temporary Works Supervisor TWSTC training is a crucial course for anyone responsible for managing temporary structures on construction sites. This training is aimed at individuals who work as Temporary Works Supervisors, including site managers, project managers, and construction engineers. It is part of the CITB training family and equips participants with the necessary skills to ensure safe and efficient temporary works on site.

Joining Instructions

Full attendance of the course is mandatory to achieve a pass. Refreshments (Tea/Coffee) are included in the cost of the course. Lunch is not provided. If you have any special dietary requirements (Soya Milk etc), special needs or learning difficulties please let us know prior to the commencement of the course. During your course you will be asked to complete a Course Assessment Report which will be submitted to CSkills with your final results for verification and includes required information as follows: Section A: Personal details including name, address, gender, date of birth, contact telephone and email details – please ensure you have your National Insurance Number and CSCS Card (if you have one) with you. Section B: To be completed if the employer intends to claim CITB grant – if so, the delegate will need to ensure that the seven-digit CITB Levy/Grant registration number, employer’s name, address and postcode are completed. If this section is not completed, it will be assumed that a claim for the CITB Levy/Grant is not required. Additional Information: 1. Photo ID is required at the beginning of the course, and must be available for inspection throughout, as CITB do carry out audits and may want to confirm ID. Suitable ID would be: Photo ID, UK Driving licence or Passport. 2. Other paperwork is not mandatory, however, if you hold a current CSCS card it will help during the registration process. 3. Course materials are supplied website Study books, reference books etc. It is advised that you bring your own note pads and pens(black ink for exams). You may use laptop/Ipad etc for taking notes however these may not be used during the exam. 4. The course will start promptly at website, and delegates are expected to arrive for website daily. The tutor is usually at the location by 8 am. Please allow sufficient traveling time, to arrive in good time. 5. Frequent breaks are given through the day at suitable times. Lunch break is generally website, this time is also flexible dependent on course/module progress. Daily finish time is approx 5pm. 6. All training is done in a classroom/boardroom environment. There is no outdoor study. We trust that you find all the above in order. Should you have any queries prior to the commencement of the course, please contact us.
