Who Should Attend?

This programme is designed for all construction operative staff who require an understanding of health and safety regulations relating to construction activities. This course may be used as training prior to CPCS assessments and attendance of the CITB health and safety touch-screen test.

Joining Instructions

Please ensure that you arrive at the training centre at least 15 minutes before the start of your course, for example 8.15am for an 8:30am course start.Refreshments: We will provide refreshments (i.e. coffee,tea, chilled water and squash) throughout your course, please feel free to help yourselfLunch: All delegates attending FULL DAY training courses at our training centre will be provided with a lunch. Please inform your instructor at the start of your course which option you would prefer. Kentec Training Ltd cannot take responsibility for any special dietary requirements or medical conditions etc. All food and refreshments may contain nuts or other allergens.Parking (Tonbridge): There is limited parking at our Tonbridge training centre, therefore, we cannot guarantee parking outside. Parking is allocated on a first come, first serve basis. There is however, public pay and display car parking less than 500m away in Sovereign Way .Parking (Tower Hamlets): There are NO parking facilities at our Tower Hamlets training centre.There are however, very good public transport links via the Underground and DLR lines. The nearest DLR Station is All Saints.Delegate Ability: All delegates must be reasonably literate, have a comprehension of English language and have no physical disabilities that would preclude them from being considered or assessed competent in the safe use and operation of the equipment used on the above course. All delegates must be able to understand both spoken and written English in order to understand a course, as well as the safety instructions on equipment (not just in the training environment but also in the work environment). If a delegate does not meet this requirement, Kentec Training and its instructors reserves the right to not train the delegate and charge as per the booking form. All course test papers and assessments are in English. The instructor's word is final. Delegate Photographs: There is no need to bring photographs we will take these digitally on the day of the course.Dress: You are advised to wear casual dress for the practical training and assessment. Please note that shorts are NOT allowed where there is practical training and assessment.PPE: Your course is classroom based therefore no p.p.e will be required.One final point, each delegate is required to meet a level of competence when assessed through both the written question paper and the practical assessment. Employers and candidates are reminded that any one who does not meet the assessment requirements will be failed and referred for re-training and will not receive a Certificate and Training Card.
