This one day Health & Safety Awareness course is a popular first step towards gaining the CSCS Labourer’s Card (previously the Green Card) and could progress towards completing other courses for supervisors or managers. The course is recognised by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as meeting the standards required on their construction sites....

Who Should Attend?

The course is for those who are new to or are thinking of entering the construction industry, and gives an awareness of health and safety and how it affects them in their daily activities.

Joining Instructions

A basic command of written and spoken English is required for this course. Terms and conditions will be sent once a booking enquiry has been made, which must be accepted in writing prior to a place being confirmed. An invoice will then be issued and payment must be received at least 7 days prior to the first course date.

Training Venue

Around 15 minutes from junction 10 of the M54 and around 15 minutes from Telford Central train station by taxi. Parking is provided free of charge within an on-site car park (Please make a note of your vehicle registration when you sign in and WHS will upload to the system). The building is easy to locate following local tourism signs to the Jackfield Tile Museum and signage will direct you to The Mill Building within the museum grounds. We have facilities for disabled access. Refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) are included for all courses. There is a cafe on site in the museum grounds and a couple of pubs within short walking distance serve food at lunch time during the summer months..
