In 2026, principal contractors and many clients continue to require this card as a minimum standard before allowing workers onto their sites. The qualification covers the key areas of risk awareness, safe use of hand tools and equipment, manual handling, working at height, fire safety, and environmental considerations that directly affect day-to-day site operations.
