The course is delivered over one full day, usually eight hours of contact time plus breaks.

There are no formal prerequisites. Delegates should have a basic understanding of construction site operations and be able to communicate in English at a level that allows participation in discussions and the test.

The course can be delivered in a classroom, on-site training room or via approved virtual platforms, provided the same learning outcomes and assessment standards are met.

Pollution prevention, waste segregation and duty-of-care requirements tend to feature heavily because these are the areas where site teams have the greatest day-to-day influence.
